OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — IKEA said Tuesday it will open a Tulsa store in 2026—the company’s first in Oklahoma—as one of four newly announced U.S. locations alongside Los Angeles, the Chicago area and Fort Collins.

The Tulsa site is planned as a 51,000‑square‑foot, small‑format store at the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center. Specific timing was not disclosed.

The announcement accompanied IKEA U.S.’s FY25 Annual Summary, which detailed $5.3 billion in sales, nearly 61 million in‑store visits, and a rewards program that reached 25 million members.

“Looking ahead to FY26, we will build on this momentum, focusing on continued investment in the U.S. to make IKEA more affordable, accessible and sustainable,” said Rob Olson, interim CEO of IKEA U.S.

IKEA also reiterated six previously announced 2026 openings—Huntsville; University Park and Rockwall in the Dallas area; Phoenix; Chantilly/Dulles in the Washington, D.C., region; and Houston–Webster—bringing the total to 10 stores slated for next year.
