OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — Caprock announced it will acquire Venturi Private Wealth, an independent wealth management firm with offices in Oklahoma City and Austin.

Venturi manages approximately $4 billion in client assets and has about 30 employees across its two offices, including 10 advisors. Following the close of the transaction, Venturi will operate under the Caprock brand.

Caprock is a national multi-family office Registered Investment Advisor headquartered in Boise, Idaho. The firm advises on approximately $17 billion in client assets and serves ultra-high-net-worth families through investment management, family office services, and customized advisory work.

The acquisition establishes Caprock’s presence in Oklahoma City and expands its footprint in Austin. Joey Sager, who leads Venturi’s Oklahoma City office, will become a managing director at Caprock. Venturi co-founder and CEO Russ Norwood also will become a managing director.

“Venturi has built an exceptional firm grounded in trust, thoughtful advice and long-term client relationship,” said Greg Brown, co-CEO of Caprock. “They share our belief that serving wealthy families requires a broad family office approach that extends well beyond investment management.”

Caprock said Venturi clients will continue working with their existing advisors while gaining access to the firm’s broader family office resources, investment platform, and national team.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
