FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (OBV) — Rausch Companies named Josh Carson president and chief operating officer as the family-owned holding company expands its real estate and energy portfolio.
Carson previously served as executive vice president and general counsel. He joined the company in 2018 and will now oversee daily operations across Rosedale Communities, Missio Capital, Calara Land Development, and EnergyWorks.
Chairman and CEO John Rausch will continue leading the company’s long-term strategy and working through the Rausch Family Foundation.
“As we grow our family of businesses, our leadership structure has to grow with it,” Rausch said. “Josh has supported this company and our family in every part of our business for years, and he shares our belief that our greatest asset is our people.”
The appointment follows the company’s sale last year of Rausch Coleman Homes and continued growth across its remaining businesses.
Calara Land has more than 9,000 residential lots in its development pipeline. Rosedale Communities manages nearly 1,500 single-family rental homes across five states and recently completed The Jefferson apartment community in Fayetteville.
Missio Capital, a real estate investment venture with Crowe Capital, focuses on multifamily and industrial properties across the Sunbelt. EnergyWorks completed its second oil and gas acquisition in two years this spring, making it the largest Arkansas-based operator in the sector, according to the company.
Carson’s appointment took effect immediately.
