First Class Air acquires Bristow’s Vertical Aerospace
The aircraft repair and manufacturing company will continue operating from its 226,000-square-foot Bristow facility under founder Tray Siegfried.

BRISTOW (OBV) — First Class Air acquired Vertical Aerospace, a Bristow company specializing in aircraft structural repair, engineering, and parts manufacturing, the companies announced Oct. 5.
Vertical Aerospace will continue operating from its 226,000-square-foot Bristow facility under founder and general manager Tray Siegfried. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company serves commercial, cargo, and military aircraft operators. Its capabilities include repairs to flight control surfaces, engine components, and composite and metal structures, along with specialized manufacturing and testing.
“We will continue serving our customers with the same team and commitment they know today, while gaining access to a much broader network of capabilities and resources for growth that will allow us to provide even more solutions in the future,” Siegfried said.
Louisville-based First Class Air said the acquisition expands its ability to help customers reduce maintenance costs, extend the life of aircraft components, and limit downtime. The Bristow operation adds specialized equipment and processes for structural repairs, engineering, and manufacturing.
Vertical Aerospace joins five other specialized aviation companies within First Class Air, which provides aircraft parts, repair services, manufacturing, and supply chain support to customers worldwide.
