OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — Governor Kevin Stitt has appointed Adria Berry as Secretary of Licensing and Regulation, a Cabinet position overseeing more than 80 state agencies with a mandate to improve efficiency and reduce regulatory barriers for businesses and workers.

Berry has served as executive director of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority since 2021, where she led enforcement efforts and implemented a licensing framework for the state’s medical cannabis industry. A licensed attorney, she previously advised the governor’s executive office and led government affairs for the Petroleum Alliance and the State Chamber of Oklahoma.

“Adria Berry brings unmatched expertise in regulation from her time at the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority,” Stitt said. “Her leadership will optimize government operations, unleash economic potential, and drive us toward our Top 10 goals with real progress for Oklahomans.”
