OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — MyDefence has opened a U.S. manufacturing and innovation facility in Oklahoma City, establishing a domestic production hub for its counter‑unmanned aircraft systems and expanding the company’s North American footprint.
The Feb. 26 launch brings advanced C‑UAS assembly and integration onto U.S. soil, a move leaders say will speed delivery to military and national‑security customers while strengthening supply‑chain security.
The company said evolving drone threats are driving demand for agile, scalable counter‑UAS systems purpose‑built for frontline operators. “Establishing this facility in Oklahoma City reflects our continuing commitment to strengthening America’s defense industrial base and supporting the U.S. Army,” said William Ostrowski, president and CEO of MyDefence North America.
“Domestic production ensures our U.S. military, National Guard, and homeland security partners have reliable, fully plug‑and‑play, mission‑ready counter-drone capabilities when and where they need them.”
MyDefence’s Oklahoma City operation supports high‑skilled roles across engineering, manufacturing and operations, and the company said it plans to work with regional partners to help grow the state’s aerospace and defense workforce.
Ostrowski said the team’s veteran and defense‑industry expertise informs technologies designed for mobility, situational awareness and rapid response in the field.
