INOLA, Okla. — Oklahoma Primary Aluminum’s proposed manufacturing facility could contribute approximately $49 billion to Oklahoma’s economy through 2060, according to an economic impact study the company released Sept. 23. The study, conducted by Regional Economic Models Inc., projects an average annual contribution of $1.45 billion to Oklahoma’s gross domestic product and $911 million in household income. It estimates the project would support approximately 7,000 Oklahoma jobs annually across its construction and operating phases.
