OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission hosted Workforce Day at the Capitol today, drawing more than 20 workforce partners to the second‑floor rotunda from 12:00–4:00 p.m. The public event highlighted programs that support employers and job seekers and offered a quick route to resources available across Oklahoma districts.

A morning legislators’ meet‑and‑greet hosted by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission ran from 8:30–10:30 a.m. in Room 459. Participating partners included the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, Oklahoma Workforce Commission, Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, CareerTech, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Office of Juvenile Affairs, Oklahoma Human Services, Job Corps, the Oklahoma Military Department, the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, among others.

“Workforce is the first step in every investment decision,” Chad Warmington, president & CEO at The State Chamber of Oklahoma, said. “When employers look at Oklahoma, they ask one question: Can you deliver talent on day one? Days like this turn partnerships into pipelines so Oklahoma competes and Oklahomans advance.”
