WOODWARD, Okla. (OBV) – INTEGRIS Health officials celebrated the company’s new ownership of an award-winning Woodward hospital.

Company representatives announced in August that deals were set to acquire AllianceHealth Ponca City and the operational assets of AllianceHealth Woodward. INTEGRIS signed an agreement with the City of Woodward for the long-term lease of the Woodward hospital The transaction became official on Nov. 1.

The Woodward facility was renamed INTEGRIS Health Woodward Hospital, and a ribbon-cutting was held at the facility on Nov. 2 to celebrate the new ownership.

“We are so excited to further our reach into the western part of the state,” said Timothy Pehrson, president and CEO of INTEGRIS Health. “We are committed to improving health outcomes for all Oklahomans and are thrilled to partner with Ponca City to ensure their citizens live longer healthier lives.”

“Our Woodward team looks forward to continuing to provide quality health care to our community and the Northwest Oklahoma region, under INTEGRIS Health leadership,” said John Brown, the interim chief hospital executive of INTEGRIS Health Woodward Hospital.
