OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — Jonathan W. Curtright became president and CEO of OU Health on July 1, succeeding Richard P. Lofgren, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Curtright joined OU Health as chief operating officer in 2022 and helped lead a period of growth and integration across the system. OU Health said annual revenue grew from $1.9 billion to a projected $3.7 billion in fiscal year 2026, while admissions increased 22.3% and outpatient clinic visits statewide surpassed 1 million.

During his tenure, OU Health expanded major programs including a nearly $400 million pediatric heart investment and the Stephenson Cancer Center’s reach into Norman, Tulsa, and McAlester. The system also launched a Level II neonatal intensive care unit partnership with Stillwater Medical.

Curtright previously served as CEO of MU Health Care, the University of Missouri’s academic health system, and held leadership roles at Indiana University Health, UK HealthCare, and Mayo Clinic.

“It is an honor to serve as the next president and CEO of OU Health,” Curtright said. “My focus will be on expanding access to advanced care, strengthening our academic mission, investing in our people, and accelerating the growth of OU Health as a destination for patients, physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals.”

Curtright also serves on The State Chamber of Oklahoma Board of Directors, the Oklahoma Hospital Association advisory council, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum board of trustees.
