OKLAHOMA CITY (OBV) — Amazon will open four new delivery facilities across Oklahoma next year as part of a $4 billion investment in rural communities, according to reporting from News On 6. The expansion includes a 250,000‑square‑foot same‑day delivery station planned for Broken Arrow and three additional delivery sites in Perry, Weatherford and McAlester.

The Broken Arrow facility will allow Amazon to fulfill, sort and deliver orders from one location, a model expected to speed delivery times and expand the company’s statewide logistics footprint. More than 100 full‑ and part‑time jobs are projected for Broken Arrow alone, with more than 500 jobs anticipated across all four Oklahoma facilities.

“Amazon’s investment is another strong signal of Broken Arrow’s momentum,” Amber Miller, vice president of economic development for Broken Arrow, told News On 6. “It speaks to the collaborative environment we’ve built and our commitment to creating opportunities that benefit our community now and into the future.”

State lawmakers likewise welcomed the announcement. House Speaker Pro Tempore Anthony Moore said Amazon’s expansion demonstrates confidence in Oklahoma’s pro‑growth policies, workforce and central location.

All four facilities are expected to open next year, News On 6 reported.
