DENVER (OBV) — Bluepeak announced it now passes more than 500,000 homes and businesses with its fiber internet network across six states, including Oklahoma.
The company said it has invested hundreds of millions of dollars since beginning a new fiber expansion effort in 2021. Bluepeak’s fiber-to-the-home network offers residential speeds up to 5 gigabits per second and business speeds up to 10 gigabits per second.
Bluepeak said the milestone reflects its continued focus on expanding high-speed internet access in underserved and rural communities across Oklahoma, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Texas.
“Every passing is a family or business that now has a choice for reliable, high-speed internet,” Bluepeak CEO Rich Fish said. “That’s exactly why we do this work.”
In Oklahoma, Bluepeak supports community events, local venues, high school athletics, first responders, and the Altus Posse Scholarship program. The company also plans to participate in Route 66’s 100th anniversary celebrations in Yukon, Elk City, and Clinton in 2026.
